Frash is a port of the Adobe Flash runtime for Android to the iPhone, using a compatibility layer, by comex ( twitter.com ). Frash can currently run most Flash programs natively in the MobileSafari browser. Frash currently only runs on the iPad, but support for other devices (3GS+ only due to technical restrictions) is planned, as well as support for iOS 4. A release is planned for when Frash is stable. Developers are welcome to join the effort at github.com – fork it and send a pull request with your patches. Frash uses a multi-process model similar to Chrome on the desktop, so a crash in the Frash/Flash plugin doesn’t take down the browser. You can see this while I’m playing Alien Hominid: the ad above crashed (probably a Frash bug), but Safari stays open just fine, and continues to play other Flash content on the page. Video and keyboard input are currently not supported. The former will require major reverse engineering of the video decoding frameworks on the iPhone, but the latter should be reasonably easy to implement. …and if anyone from Adobe reads this: Hosting the libflashplayer.so binary somewhere accessible outside the Android Market would make this a lot easier to distribute

My utitlities are: a white 2D clock on a black lock screen and 5 icons displayed sliding to another 5 or more? that I want like shortcuts, 5 big icons instead of 4, animated zoom out folders with I think 320 icons on each folder and the ability to have folders within folders, the ability to play flash… we’ll with 4.2.1 it won’t work but with 4.1 I heard it works but I can’t downgrade without reinstalling everything…….
@techguy1187 I got Cydia and got a few utilities I want to polish the iPhone into something way better… honestly if? Apple has the modifications I did it would sell more… I didn’t get unneccessary utilities like themes that make it look personalized, I got necessary utilities that make it operate closer to a Windows PC but without the complicatedness
@AntDX316 exactly. Except why is it that the iOS platform is faster than most Android Versions? Simple, flash is taking up space. I love flash, but Apple really needs to make? improvements to the OS before they can ever release even the slightest version of flash. Even with Android, you aren’t getting full support.
@aaroncar what are u talking about. Apple is one of Adobe’s biggest funders. They’ve poured millions in for years. It is simply a matter of Apple not wanting to take up space with flash? and slow down the devices. Personally, i think that the iOS current platform cannot support it securely. I think that they would have to release so major updates just to get flash to Android Level, which still is not suitable for tablets.

Nvm Windows Phone 7 has an Appstore and no flash support also.? All these phones are horrible. Better just to get an Android. I got an iPhone 4 but at times I need flash but I can’t get it.
I see why Apple won’t? support flash unless it’s App Store flash apps. People will just play web based flash games and not use the App store as much significantly to hurt their income and income of App Store flash app developers. No need to use Zynga Poker app, which is horrible compared to the web version, and other apps when it can be used online for free. It’s all about making money. I’m going Windows Phone 7.
I think other manufacturers pay monthly to not implement flash. With flash the iphone would dominate causing other manufacturers to near bankruptcy. Without flash the? iphone would be equal.
